The State of our Mission

Since our inception in August of 2020, we have taken in a lot of dogs.

We’ve placed 105 in adoptive homes.

We returned one young female to her rightful owners, have 2 temporarily in boarding and 17 in foster homes, awaiting their ideal match.

15 of our 148 total cases, have mercifully crossed the rainbow bridge.

9 whose behaviors posed a danger to the public.

4 that were suffering and whose health was unrecoverable.

And 2 who passed naturally in their sleep.

The final 8 are a variety of hospice, medical or special needs cases, that are being cherished and loved by friends of ours. Families that have opened their homes to give care and comfort to animals whose prospects are less than ideal. These dogs, and any others that come into our program with a terminal diagnosis or an undesirable trait or a health or behavioral issue, will remain under our banner for the duration of their lives. We will stay financially responsible for them for life and consider it an honor to do so.

“These are the ones we do this for.”

This banner that we operate under is a 501c3 nonprofit organization recognized by the State of NY and the Federal Government as a Charitable Entity.

We’re registered with the New York State Department of Agriculture.

We’re New Hope Partners with the Animal Care Centers of New York City and the Franklin County Dog Shelter in Ohio; as well as rescue partners with Animal Welfare Groups in VA, PA and SC.

We’ve also brought bull terriers into our program from owner surrenders and shelters in TN, NJ, WV, IL, IN, GA, MO, OK, NE, NC, MS, CT, MD and TX.

We currently operate with a board of directors that include two members of the Bull Terrier Club of America and a healthcare professional.

Our bylaws dictate that we make all rescue decisions as a quorum.

We’re in a partnership with the Rescue Welfare Trust Fund of The Bull Terrier Club of America and are beholden to a set of practical and ethical guidelines.

All the proceeds from any fundraising that we do goes directly to help us with our mission of helping bull terriers in need.

We work hard at saving dogs.

We’ll keep working hard at saving dogs.

Because this is our Mission.
